Facebook is an excellent means of social interaction. also a way to practice the Dharma . Do you miss it? Try to explain as soon as possible.
I joined the social network almost in its infancy. I have accepted most of those who have requested my virtual friendship, except in those cases where the applicant concealed his identity, he used a picture employed or intended to include in my contacts and uses slogans that undermine the dignity or human rights. And if ever I "slipped" some "virtual terrorism", I immediately discharged, using my freedom. This is why I opened the door of my "Virtual Home" to all those who have asked me, even without knowing them in person (which is most). That's what tells us Buddhism, after all, right? open to others, whom we requested, without prejudice . Especially if the applicant is someone already known to us or an accredited social identity. Refuse to add it to my "friends" is an act contrary to the fratermidad, because what I have to hide? If you want to keep a private contact, "exclusive" or "elite" I can create my own group, my own network or simply access the Internet. However this is my opinion and each makes use of the Internet as desired. I just stated a point of reflection in this Virtual Age. Have already been several Buddhist supporters who have told me that this or that teacher, lama or monk has been denied access on the grounds "Do not really know in depth" or "just want to have on your list a number of friends." I think it right, if profane use its civil identity and not a monk, a Buddhist lama or teacher. If the Dalai Lama to accept anyone who asks! Oh, the Ego, Ego powerful!
I'm certainly in Facebook. And so far has been a great tool for employment and social. Their mistakes or errors are the same that we find off the Internet. Or perhaps not "hazardous" waste an agenda or a mobile phone?
With best wishes in the Dharma.
